Tuesday Cool-Down Drops Day’s High to “Just” 91°

Pasadena residents will see cooler temperatures Tuesday before a warming trend resumes midweek and continues for a “high and dry” Labor Day weekend, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday’s high is expected to reach 91 degrees, down about 6 degrees from Monday. Forecasters attribute the cooling to a weakened marine layer and shifting upper-level patterns. Pasadena Man Arrested After Police Recover Firearms, Narcotics in Search Warrant Operation

A 29-year-old Pasadena man was arrested Friday morning after police recovered firearms, narcotics, body armor and ammunition during a search warrant operation in the city’s north end, authorities said. Lazaro Tapia was taken into custody at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Sept. 5 at a residence in the 800 block of North Euclid Avenue, according to Pasadena Police Lt. Matt Campeau.
