A community vigil and fundraiser will be held Thursday evening in response to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid that resulted in the detention of six car wash workers last week in Pasadena. Pasadena Man Arrested After Police Recover Firearms, Narcotics in Search Warrant Operation

A 29-year-old Pasadena man was arrested Friday morning after police recovered firearms, narcotics, body armor and ammunition during a search warrant operation in the city’s north end, authorities said. Lazaro Tapia was taken into custody at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Sept. 5 at a residence in the 800 block of North Euclid Avenue, according to Pasadena Police Lt. Matt Campeau.
