Through collaboration, advocacy, and engagement, we strive to create a future where our community is informed, connected, and resilient in the face of adversity.

Building a Stronger Altadena Together

The Altadena Talks Foundation, Inc. is a public foundation committed to assisting individuals and families affected by the devastating fires in Altadena. Our mission goes beyond immediate relief; we work to build sustainable support systems that empower the community to recover, rebuild, and prepare for the future.

Our Commitment to Altadena

Following the Eaton Fire on January 7, 2025, our community faced unprecedented challenges. Homes were lost, businesses were affected, and families were displaced. The Altadena Talks Foundation was created to provide a unified response to these hardships, ensuring that no resident navigates this journey alone.

Through strategic partnerships, advocacy efforts, and community-driven initiatives, we provide:

Emergency Assistance & Relief – We connect affected individuals with immediate relief resources, including temporary housing, financial assistance, and essential services.

Information & Awareness – Through our Altadena Talks Podcast and town hall events, we provide up-to-date news on recovery efforts, interviews with experts, and insights into available assistance programs.

Community Engagement & Support – We believe in the power of collective action. By fostering open dialogue, sharing personal stories, and amplifying community voices, we create a platform for connection and healing.

Long-Term Recovery Resources – Beyond immediate aid, we focus on sustainable rebuilding, including mental health support, rebuilding grants, legal aid, and disaster preparedness education.

How You Can Get Involved
